They’re Back! Lighten Up and More Returning in 2017

Lighten Up

The challenge for $10,000 begins Feb. 24! Available in nine languages, the Lighten Up Challenge is open to all employees, contractors and their families and friends, with discounted fees available. The 12-week challenge involves teams of five from companies around the globe competing to safely lose the greatest percentage of weight and win cash prizes, including a team grand prize of $10,000. Registration is open until Feb. 24 at www.arconicweightchallenge.com.

SmartQuit^®

It’s not too late to make 2017 the year you help your employees quit smoking for good. We’ve extended the registration deadline for SmartQuit until March 31. The first 200 U.S. employees, domestic partners and qualified dependents to sign up at www.SmartQuit.net/Arconic will get this app-based smoking-cessation program for free—a $50 savings. But that’s not all. If employees earn their Certificate of Completion and take the program satisfaction survey, they’ll receive a $50 Visa gift card.

meQuilibrium

Think, feel, sleep, work, play—better! Following two successful meQuilibrium pilots, all U.S. employees now have access to this personalized, online coaching system that builds resilience to better manage stress. There’s no cost, but slots are limited to the first 200 employees who sign up. Registration opens March 1.

PROCAM Health Risk Calculator

Know your risk for a heart attack and stroke. All employees will continue to have access to PROCAM, an easy-to-use calculator to assess their risk that’s available in 14 languages (Arconic password is arc123). Business and wellness leaders can use the PROCAM Insights tool, which was launched last year, to access aggregated metrics by time period, country, business unit and location.

Healthy Rewards

Eligible U.S. employees can earn $300 by meeting three requirements by Oct. 31, 2017:

• Completing a wellness profile;
• Undergoing a Know Your Numbers biometric health screening; and
• Meeting three biometric health screening target numbers or participating in at least three sanctioned wellness activities.

In 2016, 56 percent of employees who underwent a Healthy Rewards screening achieved a 5 percent improvement in at least one measurement compared to prior year.
